Poor Brentford was so optimistic about how big his waist had gotten. The last jeans he bought were 34 waist. I wasn’t going to interfere, but I had to do something. He’s been going out in his pajama bottoms and I thought he was just being a little rebellious - you know - “rage against societal norms” or something. But no, he just didn’t tell me his regular pants didn’t fit any more. Crossing fingers the 38 stretch waist will work!

This dedication to Prince Phillip from Barack Obama is incredibly written. Set aside what you've seen on The Crown for a moment and hear his impression.
Alexis Nichole Nelson is this amazing forager who I've learned so much about edible plants from and also laughed heartily at her whimsical videos.
Rudy Willingham fantastic graphic (or maybe graffiti - you decide) artist from Seattle. (Instagram)
Just watched this documentary last night - highly recommend. It's about Mark Hogancamp who was attacked and beaten so badly he had no memories of his life before the attack. He begins rebuilding his life and working on regaining his fine motor skills by building and photographing a small WWII village with 1/6 figures. You can visit his website for more info.
Not to be confused with the Steve Carrell movie about the same person, called Welcome To Marwen, which I've heard is really not as great as the documentary. [Update: I watched it and it was good but the documentary did a better job of telling the story of how his little town helped him in so many more ways. The movie was a lot about a love interest not mentioned in the docu so I'm not sure if that was even real. But I'm super glad the shoes play a big role in the Marwen movie!]
We all owe this dedicated research scientist who laid the groundwork for mRNA vaccines (and I mean it's all she thought about - not fame, not money) a LOT. (Thanks Cheryl!)
This IGTV message from Ijeoma Oluo really hit hard on some difficult discussions about the Derek Chauvin trial and gave me a lot of insight. Really worth listening to all 7 minutes. (stupid IG still doesn't embed nicely)
This SNL parody of The “Amazon Echo Silver” slays me.
